How Entergy Arkansas’s plans work
RS (General Purpose Residential Service). In July the first 1,500 kWh a month cost 13.7¢ each; then 17.0¢ above 1,500 kWh a month. An average Arkansas home (1,406 kWh in July) stays within the first tier. Fixed charge: $12.71 a month.
REMT (Residential Energy Management Time-of-Use). Mid-peak 6 am–1 pm, Peak 1 pm–7 pm, Mid-peak 7 pm–10 pm on July weekdays; 6 of 24 hours carry the top price of 23.5¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 11.2¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 12.3¢. January weekdays range from 11.2¢ to 12.7¢. Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $12.71 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, Entergy Arkansas billed its residential customers an average of 12.97¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for Arkansas’s price change since.
