TOU-D-4-9PM (Time-of-Use 4–9 pm). Peak 4 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 5 of 24 hours carry the top price of 59.1¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 35.3¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 23.8¢. January weekdays range from 34.2¢ to 51.7¢. Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $24.17 a month.
TOU-D-5-8PM (Time-of-Use 5–8 pm). Peak 5 pm–8 pm on July weekdays; 3 of 24 hours carry the top price of 75.0¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 35.1¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 39.8¢. January weekdays range from 33.2¢ to 61.4¢. Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $24.17 a month.
TOU-D-PRIME (TOU-D-PRIME). Peak 4 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 5 of 24 hours carry the top price of 59.9¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 27.3¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 32.6¢. January weekdays range from 25.3¢ to 57.3¢. Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $24.17 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, SCE billed its residential customers an average of 32.43¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for California’s price change since.
