How Colorado Springs Utilities’s plans work
ETR (Residential Service, Energy-Wise Standard Time-of-Day Option). Peak 5 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 4 of 24 hours carry the top price of 33.4¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 9.8¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 23.6¢. January weekdays range from 9.8¢ to 18.9¢. Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May. Weekends differ: off-peak all day. Fixed charge: $20.79 a month.
ETR-F (Residential Service, Fixed Seasonal Option). One price per kWh at every hour: 13.5¢ in July and 10.9¢ in January. Shifting use to other hours changes nothing on this plan; using less is the only lever. Fixed charge: $23.69 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, Colorado Springs Utilities billed its residential customers an average of 14.45¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for Colorado’s price change since.
