RPKA (Residential Peak Adjustment Service (Default Time Based Plan)). Mid-peak 6 am–4 pm, Peak 4 pm–8 pm, Mid-peak 8 pm–12 am on July weekdays; 4 of 24 hours carry the top price of 16.4¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 14.4¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 2.0¢. January weekdays range from 6.0¢ to 7.2¢. Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May. Fixed charge: $12.00 a month.
RTOU (Residential Time of Use - Three Period (Nights & Weekends Plan)). Mid-peak 6 am–4 pm, Peak 4 pm–8 pm, Mid-peak 8 pm–12 am on July weekdays; 4 of 24 hours carry the top price of 34.1¢. Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, Evergy Missouri Metro billed its residential customers an average of 13.72¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for Missouri’s price change since.
