How Eversource’s plans work
R (Residential Service). One price per kWh at every hour, all year: 25.9¢. Shifting use to other hours changes nothing on this plan; using less is the only lever. Fixed charge: $19.81 a month.
R-OTOD 2 (Residential Time-of-Day 2). Peak 1 pm–7 pm on July weekdays; 6 of 24 hours carry the top price of 37.7¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 22.3¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 15.3¢. January weekdays range from 22.3¢ to 37.7¢. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $25.73 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, Eversource billed its residential customers an average of 22.65¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for New Hampshire’s price change since.
