Schedule 7: Residential Service
- In July the first 2,000 kWh a month cost 19.6¢ each; then 20.7¢ above 2,000 kWh a month.
- An average Oregon home (859 kWh in July) stays within the first tier.
- Fixed charge: $17.24 a month.
Schedule 7 TOD: Residential Time of Day
- Mid-peak 7 am–5 pm, Peak 5 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 4 of 24 hours carry the top price of 46.2¢.
- The cheapest July weekday hour costs 11.5¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 34.7¢.
- January weekdays range from 11.5¢ to 46.2¢.
- Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays.
- Fixed charge: $17.24 a month.
