How Entergy Texas’s plans work

RS (Residential Service). In July the first 0 kWh a month cost 14.2¢ each; then . An average Texas home (1,581 kWh in July) stays within the first tier. Fixed charge: $15.53 a month.

RS-TOD (Residential Time of Day). Peak 1 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 8 of 24 hours carry the top price of 26.0¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 8.8¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 17.2¢. January weekdays range from 8.8¢ to 18.9¢. Summer pricing applies May–Oct; winter pricing Nov–Apr. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $15.53 a month.

Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
