How Anaheim Public Utilities’s plans work
Schedule D (Domestic Service). In July the first 10 kWh a day cost 14.5¢ each; then 23.0¢ above 10 kWh a day. An average California home (571 kWh in July) goes past the first tier, so extra load such as an EV is priced higher. Fixed charge: $8.00 a month.
TOU-2 (Domestic Time-of-Use). Peak 4 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 5 of 24 hours carry the top price of 34.8¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 18.2¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 16.6¢. January weekdays range from 13.6¢ to 32.8¢. Summer pricing applies Jul–Oct; winter pricing Nov–Jun. Weekends differ: off-peak all day. Fixed charge: $4.96 a month. Minimum bill: $8.00 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, Anaheim Public Utilities billed its residential customers an average of 17.11¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for California’s price change since.
