RS: Residential Service
- In July the first 600 kWh a month cost 18.9¢ each; then 25.8¢ above 600 kWh a month.
- An average New Jersey home (1,036 kWh in July) goes past the first tier, so extra load such as an EV is priced higher.
- Fixed charge: $4.27 a month.
RT: Residential Time of Day
- Peak 8 am–8 pm on July weekdays; 12 of 24 hours carry the top price of 27.9¢.
- The cheapest July weekday hour costs 16.1¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 11.8¢.
- January weekdays range from 16.9¢ to 26.0¢.
- Summer pricing applies Jun–Sep; winter pricing Oct–May.
- Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays.
- Fixed charge: $8.07 a month.
