SC-1 Rate I: Residential Service, New York City
- In July the first 250 kWh a month cost 32.3¢ each; then 34.9¢ above 250 kWh a month.
- An average New York home (784 kWh in July) goes past the first tier, so extra load such as an EV is priced higher.
- Fixed charge: $23.91 a month.
SC-1 Rate III: Voluntary Time-of-Day, New York City
- Mid-peak 8 am–2 pm, Peak 2 pm–6 pm, Mid-peak 6 pm–12 am on July weekdays; 4 of 24 hours carry the top price of 120.0¢.
- The cheapest July weekday hour costs 12.5¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 107.5¢.
- January weekdays range from 15.7¢ to 29.0¢.
- Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays.
- Fixed charge: $23.91 a month.
