How GMP’s plans work
Rate 01 (Residential Service). One price per kWh at every hour, all year: 25.4¢. Shifting use to other hours changes nothing on this plan; using less is the only lever. Fixed charge: $23.12 a month.
Rate 11 (Optional Residential Time of Day). Peak 1 pm–9 pm on July weekdays; 8 of 24 hours carry the top price of 39.8¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 17.6¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 22.2¢. January weekdays range from 17.6¢ to 39.8¢. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $30.20 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, GMP billed its residential customers an average of 22.09¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for Vermont’s price change since.
