How We Energies’s plans work
Rg 1 (Residential Service). One price per kWh at every hour, all year: 19.6¢. Shifting use to other hours changes nothing on this plan; using less is the only lever. Fixed charge: $15.01 a month.
Rg 2 (Residential Time-of-Use, Option A). Peak 7 am–7 pm on July weekdays; 12 of 24 hours carry the top price of 30.3¢. The cheapest July weekday hour costs 10.3¢, so moving 1 kWh out of the top hours saves 20.1¢. January weekdays range from 10.3¢ to 30.3¢. Weekends follow a different schedule from weekdays. Fixed charge: $15.01 a month.
Prices on this page are all-in per kWh, before taxes: base rates, supply and every per-kWh rider in the utility’s current tariff sheets. Your bill shows them as separate lines, and riders can change between tariff revisions.
As a cross-check, We Energies billed its residential customers an average of 19.23¢ per kWh in 2024 (revenue ÷ sales, EIA-861). A plan taken from URDB is shown only if its all-in price is consistent with that figure, adjusted for Wisconsin’s price change since.
